The Continuing Effort of Uniting for Children and Youth
The role of the voter does not end on election day. Trustees who intend to address specific concerns of the voters need to be supported if they are to overcome inevitable obstacles. We also need to hold them accountable for what they have promised. UCY will be working to provide this support and oversight. UCY is building awareness of the shift taking place from the industrial age education model to one more appropriate for today. The more that we understand what is happening in education, the more we will be able to provide students with the educational opportunities they need to succeed in the new age, while maintaining their health and sense of well-being. We use the UCY blog, Facebook page and website, along with various events to inform people of innovative ideas and the potential for new solutions to old problems.
